Founded in 2021, TAZAAR addresses the lack of traceability and tracking for high value, serviceable equipment. The original concept was a mobile application that could accurately diagnose a smartphone’s hardware and software condition prior to reselling. As we progressed in our journey, we pivoted in September 2022 to a digital logbook solution, whereby provenance would be embedded from point of manufacture with a focus on higher value, serviceable electronic and electrical equipment.

Driven by both future EU regulations, experience and industry feedback, this shapes our digital product passport solution, AssetID where we have co-developed a value-driven proposition for manufacturers and their value chain such as seamless product registration, location tracking and warranty management.
